Support Services

We perform basic housekeeping tasks to help you maintain a clean and neat living environment. We will also prepare simple meals, and can accompany you outside your home for medical appointments, shopping, and other similar activities. We provide these services to individuals living in Dunn County.
We Provide Multiple Services:

Personal Care

  • Assistance with bathing
  • Teeth, mouth and denture care
  • Shampoo hair
  • Assistance with mobility/ambulation
  • Skin care, lotion (except wound care)
  • Care of eye glasses and hearing aides
  • Assistance with dressing and undressing
  • Toileting
  • Feeding and meal serving
  • Transport to medical appointments as long as client is able to get into a vehicle
  • Purchase food

Light Housekeeping

  • Vacuum and dust rooms
  • Empty garbage
  • Clean counters, tables, appliances
  • Wash, dry and put away dishes
  • Sweep and mop hard surface floors
  • Clean bathroom, toilet, tub, sink, shower
  • Wash inside windows
  • Make bed
  • Organize closets, pantries and cupboards

Laundry Services

  • Wash bed linens; make up bed with clean linens
  • Wash, dry and put away laundry
  • Iron, or drop off and/or pickup dry cleaning
  • Assist with laundry at a laundry mat

Grocery Assistance

  • Check and rotate all foods
  • Assist with grocery purchasing
  • Put groceries away and organize cupboards

Meal Preparation

  • Prepare current or future meals
  • Clean up dishes

Transportation

  • Transport to medical appointments
  • Run errands

Mentoring

Improving a person’s ability to interact in their community in socially advantageous ways by providing the individuals with experiences in peer interaction, social and/or recreational activities, and employability skill building opportunities during spontaneous and real-life situations.

Daily Living Skills Training

Providing education and skill development or training to support the individual’s ability to independently perform routine daily living activities and effectively use community resources.

Your Needs

We do not provide live in help

Our services are not limited to the above. Just let us know what your needs are and we will do our best to provide those services to you.
Because of insurance restrictions the following tasks may not be performed:
  • Move heavy furniture, boxes, or equipment
  • Scrub floors on hands and knees
  • Shampoo carpets
  • Wash walls that would require a ladder
  • Use step ladders or chairs for climbing
  • Snow removal
  • Home repairs of any kind
